Owens Corning Inc

Owens Corning is engaged in the business of composite and building materials systems, delivering a range of products and services, such as glass fiber, insulation and roofing. Owens Corning has aligned their water management efforts with the UN SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation). As such, the company uses water management tools to track water usage and increase efficiencies, resulting in a 42% decrease in water use from 2010 and a focus on decreasing water usage in higher stressed water area. For their efforts, they have received the CDP’s A List for Climate and Water.

Microsoft Corp

Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, support and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services with headquarters in Redmond, Washington, United States. Last year, Microsoft donated $1.4 billion in software and services to NGOs who are addressing important societal issues around the world. Microsoft’s employees donated $158 million to NGOs who serve communities where employees, customers, and their families live and work. The company is helping close the computer science gap by having 1000+ technology volunteers partner with teachers to bring computer science education to 13,000 students in 344 U.S. high schools.

Intel Corp

Intel Corporation is an American multinational corporation and technology company with headquarters in Santa Clara, California, United States. Approximately 87% of the employees at Intel work in technical roles. As of 2017, Intel’s Learning and Development initiative registered approximately 2 million total learning hours and about 200,000 learners receiving the training. Intel uses a range of methods and inputs to identify priority topics and emerging issues from their stake holders: CSR online and social media channels, ESG investor outreach meetings, meetings with governments, and human rights impact assessment and ethics and compliance processes. Intel’s operations in the U.S. continue to be 100% green power and have a 73% green power globally.

Hasbro Inc

Hasbro, Inc. is an American multinational toy and board game company and the largest toymaker in the world by market value with headquarters in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States. 94% of Hasbro employees engaged in volunteer services in 2017 and 38% of Hasbro’s 13-member board are female directors. Hasbro ranked number one on the 2017 100 Best Corporate Citizens list by CR Magazine and ranked in the “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” list. 90% of the company’s paper packaging and inbox content comes from recycled material or from sources that practice sustainable forest management.

Eastman Chemical Co

Eastman Chemical Company is a global specialty chemical company that produces advanced materials, chemicals and fibers for everyday purposes with headquarters in Kingsport, Tennessee, United States. The Eastman team works hard to minimize their environmental footprint by conserving natural resources, inventing more efficient production methods, and developing chemistries that use renewable raw materials. Eastman became a member of the Consortium for Ocean Leadership and partnered with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Eastman uses an internal reporting mechanism to ensure that all fines and penalties associated with noncompliance with environmental laws and regulations are captured in one place.

Cisco Systems Inc

Cisco Systems, Inc. is an American multinational technology conglomerate that develops, manufactures and sells networking hardware, telecommunications equipment and other high-tech services and products with headquarters in San Jose, California, United States. Cisco’s Supplier Code of Conduct requires their suppliers to have mechanisms in place to allow workers to file, track, and resolve formal grievances. Cisco also worked with their strategic suppliers to build up a green supply-chain in mainland China and minimize environmental impact when producing Cisco products and components. The company launched an executive sponsorship program for Cisco’s top U.S. diverse suppliers, with 26 pairs of Cisco executives and diverse suppliers meeting over an 18-month period.
